Experience the charm of our Italian Room, nestled in an 18th-century limestone house directly adjacent to the main building. This bright and airy space is decorated in an Italian style, with little touches that evoke la dolce vita.

The room features a kingsize continental bed dressed in luxey soft linens, and cozy blankets to snuggle into. There’s also the option to add an extra bed for another adult or child – just let us know in advance.

Staying in the Italian Room offers a more affordable alternative to rooms in the main house, while still enjoying all the essentials – lux linens, thick towels and cozy bathrobes included. The thick limestone walls of the cottage keep the space naturally cool in summer and snug in winter.

Shared newly renovated Italian-tiled bathroom – saving you money!

The bathroom is a short walk away in the main house. During your stay, you will share this bathroom with one other room in the main building. Fully tiled with lovely underfloor heating, a rainfall shower and brass fittings, it’s both stylish and soothing. Each guest receives thick towels and a warm cozy bathrobe. We designed this bathroom to be rich in comfort and character, but not en-suite, to keep room prices friendly.

The Italian Room faces south and catches the soft afternoon light, with views over the garden and terrace area. It’s a lovely space to retreat to with a book or glass of something chilled.

Allergy note: the property has a cat who you’ll see from time to time in and around the buildings.
